IUFP works with high-quality centres capable of delivering outstanding student outcomes. Below are the selection criteria and the information required for centre approval.

  1. Prior experience teaching GCE A levels or equivalent Level 3 courses. Desirable
  2. Basic teaching & classroom facilities in place, suitable for high‑quality delivery of the IUFP course. Mandatory
  3. Qualified teaching staff to deliver the IUFP curriculum (first degree in specialist subject). CVs of Teachers will be requested. Mandatory
  4. Mechanisms to secure IUFP examinations (e.g., invigilation facilities, examination rooms; CCTV desirable) and a secure safe for exam materials. Mandatory
  5. Commitment of financial resources for marketing and promotion of the IUFP brand upon centre approval. Mandatory
  6. Institutional policies covering Health & Safety; Equality & Diversity; Quality & Standards; Student Welfare; Student Recruitment; Disability; Staff Training; and Anti‑Bribery activities, among others. Mandatory

FAQs

Is prior A‑level (or equivalent) delivery mandatory?

It is desirable but not mandatory. Strong facilities, policies and staffing remain essential.

Do we need CCTV for exams?

CCTV is noted as desirable; however, secure invigilation spaces and a safe for exam materials are mandatory.

What qualifications do teachers need?

Teachers should hold at least a first degree in the specialist subject they teach.
