Login credentials issued at course commencement for access to:

  • Bespoke E-Books for all subjects
  • Detailed curriculum and scheme of work
  • Past examination papers
  • Assessment guidelines and marking criteria

Examination Conduct & Results

EXAM CONDUCT

Follow separate examination conduct guide for:

  • Secure storage of examination papers
  • Invigilation procedures
  • Incident reporting protocols

RESULTS SCHEDULE

  • December exams → results: 4th Friday of January
  • June exams → results: 3rd Friday of July
  • Core resits: March/April
  • Electives resits: August/September

Assessment & Grading System

GRADE SCALE

  • A* (≥80%) | A (70–79%) | B (60–69%)
  • C (50–59%) | D (40–49%) | E (30–39%)
  • F (0–29%)

Pass mark: 40%

RESIT RULES

  • 30–39% in ≤2 subjects → eligible for resit
  • Below 30% in ≥2 subjects → retake full course
  • Below 30% in 1 subject → resit that subject

University Admissions Support

IUFP UK coordinates university admissions. Partner Schools should produce termly Progress Charts to support predicted grades.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (UK)

  • Recent passport photograph
  • O-Level/equivalent results certificates
  • IELTS results (varies by university; some accept O-Level English)
  • Personal statement
  • Academic reference from Partner School

Medicine/Nursing may require IELTS 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each component).

APPLICATION TIMING

For September university entry, send the Application Checklist by the second week of February. UCAS application fees may apply.

Quality Assurance & Duration

QUALIFICATION BENCHMARK

Elective subjects benchmarked on OCR specifications. IUFP is a condensed AS/A2-style programme, more intensive and wider in scope than standard A Level courses.

PROGRAMME DURATION

  • Intensive scheme: 6–9 months
  • Standard scheme: 9–12 months

Programme delivery and quality assessment are reviewed annually by IUFP Global Education UK.
